About Ella Paints
My Backstory
I'm Ella I'm a Suffolk based Pet Portrait Artist, and I've always adored pets, and anything art! During lockdown in 2020, I decided to start my own hand painted pet portrait business while completing a first class honours degree in Fine Art.
It's been amazing to turn my love for painting, into a business where I can create memorable gifts for pet lovers and admirers. I have grown a large knowledge of how to capture a variety of pets of all shapes, sizes, fur textures, and tones, through the use of acrylic paint.
These portraits are uniquely hand painted from your own photograph of your special pet and then backed onto a board and gift wrapped so it is protected when going through the post.
The Process

Send an image of your pet
All you need to do is simply send me a few images (or one particular image) you would like me to paint from, so I can begin!

Draw it
I will sketch out the image and create a composition based on your preference, for example, this customer requested a head shot.

Paint it
Using acrylic paint, I start to recreate the fur like textures and tones from the images provided, and capture all the details and important features of your furry friend.

Package it
The portraits are then backed onto a board and gift wrapped with cellophane so they are protected when going through the post.

Send it
Packaged with all recyclable materials and cushioned in a cardboard letter box ready to be posted and received by you!
